DIN 3015 Heavy Series Pipe Clamp
The HS-100 heavy series (DIN 3015 Part 2) two-shell pipe clamp for high-pressure, high-vibration hydraulic and cooling lines in wind turbine nacelles and towers — a PA66-GF body with EPDM or NBR insert and a steel cover plate.

Typical applications
- Nacelle drivetrain, gearbox and power-pack hydraulic circuits
- Tower hydraulic feed and return risers
- High-vibration positions near gear mesh and pumps
- Cooling and lubrication mains needing firm, low-movement support
Selection notes
The heavy series (DIN 3015 Part 2) uses a thicker, deeper clamp body than the light series (Part 1), giving higher clamping force and better fatigue performance where vibration and pressure are high. In wind turbines that means nacelle drivetrain and tower hydraulic lines rather than light control or signal runs.
Body material is PA66-GF (glass-filled nylon) as standard; the insert compound (EPDM, NBR or others) is chosen by fluid, temperature and vibration. Bracket and fastener coating is set by the environment — zinc-nickel or stainless for corrosion-critical and offshore positions.
RFQ checklist
- Pipe or tube OD and wall thickness
- Working pressure and fluid or medium
- Turbine zone and vibration level
- Insert compound (EPDM / NBR) and temperature range
- Bracket and fastener coating or stainless requirement
- EN 10204 3.1 or project document requirements
Send the pipe OD, pressure, zone and documentation requirement and we will return a heavy-series selection with insert, coating and certificate defined.
